The role of Procurement Specialist involves sourcing suppliers, purchasing various vitamins, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical ingredients, and packaging materials while reducing procurement costs, managing vendors, and overseeing inventory management and contract negotiations.

  • We seek candidates with at least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical formulation/food manufacturing companies who have prospecting skills for manufacturers/vendors and importers of pharmaceutical APIs and ingredients.
  • Candidates must have knowledge of purchasing vitamins, APIs, ingredients, and packaging materials as well as compliance with regulations.
  • A strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills along with the ability to coordinate effectively is required.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing vendors and lowering procurement costs.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology/Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.

Responsibilities include:

Procurement Strategy:

Sourcing high-quality suppliers for various products

Purchasing vitamins, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical ingredients, and packaging materials

Reducing procurement costs through effective vendor management and negotiation

Vendor Management:

Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers

Overseeing inventory management and contract negotiations

Inventory Management:

Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products

Managing inventory levels to meet customer demand

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws

Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology/Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical formulation/food manufacturing companies
