Antimicrobial Scientist

Job Description:

You will live our Purpose, Fight and Compass in this role and own the testing and decisions around substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team of global microbiologists driving the data generation, analysis and recommendations around antimicrobial performance of personal care and surface care innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support New Product Development teams in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects by conducting experiments and evaluating the efficacy of prototype formulations and finished products.
• Plan, conduct and analyze experiments to evaluate the antimicrobial efficacy of products according to global and internal standard methods.
• Contribute towards continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and recommend modifications to existing techniques, processes, systems or programs.
• Maintain lab records in compliance with Microbiology Laboratory and Global Quality standards.
• Liaise with external laboratories to ensure delivery of results on time.
