Job Title: Cyber Security Professional

The primary goal of this role is to architect and implement robust security frameworks for IT systems. This involves the installation and configuration of hardware, setup of firewalls and virtual private networks (VPNs), as well as regular upgrades and maintenance.

  • This position requires proficiency in change management and disaster response, with a strong focus on applying policies and standards to all projects.
  • Cyber Security professionals will engage with clients, relaying project information and troubleshooting all issues discovered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama configurations
  • Design and implement security infrastructure for IT systems
  • Install hardware, configure firewalls, set up VPNs, and perform regular upgrades
  • Perform day-to-day firewall activities like administration, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Configure URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls
  • Review network security threat logs for intrusions and compromises and provide solutions
  • Knowledge of authentication methods such as radius & tacacs
  • Expertise in remote infrastructure management for network
  • Good understanding of basic routing and switching concepts
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in cyber security
  • Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Palo – Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint firewalls, or other network security technologies
  • Proficient in IOS upgrades and software strategies

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing robust security protocols across various IT systems. Your expertise in change management and disaster response will ensure that all projects adhere to strict policies and standards.

Some of your key responsibilities will include managing Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama configurations, designing and implementing security infrastructure for IT systems, installing hardware and configuring firewalls, and performing regular upgrades and maintenance. Additionally, you will be required to configure URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls, review network security threat logs, and provide solutions for intrusions and compromises.

With your knowledge of authentication methods, expertise in remote infrastructure management, and good understanding of basic routing and switching concepts, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest levels of security across our IT systems.
