About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement examination schedules, timetables, and protocols for all programs.
  • Ensure the timely preparation and distribution of question papers while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Supervise the conduct of examinations, including invigilation arrangements and infrastructure readiness.
Evaluation and Results Processing
  • Oversee the evaluation process, ensuring compliance with university policies and grading standards.
  • Monitor the timely collection, collation, and publication of examination results.
  • Address discrepancies, grievances, and re-evaluation requests in a fair and transparent manner.
System Management and Technology Integration
  • Manage examination management systems (EMS) and ensure smooth digital operations.
  • Facilitate the integration of technology in examination and evaluation processes, such as online exams or digital grading.
Policy Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure compliance with university guidelines, statutory regulations, and accreditation standards in all examination-related activities.
  • Develop and update examination policies, procedures, and manuals as needed.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to maintain the integrity and fairness of the evaluation process.
Team Leadership and Coordination
  • Supervise and guide the examinations team, including administrative staff and invigilators.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, faculty members, and other stakeholders for smooth examination operations.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on examination protocols and policies.
Data Management and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of examination schedules, results, and grievances.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to university leadership on examination performance and statistics.
Student Support and Communication
  • Address student queries and concerns related to examinations and results in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate examination guidelines, rules, and schedules effectively to students and faculty.

About You

  • Masters degree in a relevant field; a Ph.D. or additional certifications in education management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in academic administration, preferably in examinations or evaluations.
  • In-depth knowledge of university examination systems, academic regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Proficiency in examination management software and other relevant IT tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
