Backend Developer

We're seeking a talented Backend Developer to spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable backend services using modern Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop: Create robust backend systems and REST APIs utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
  • Data Optimization: Enhance and manage our MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on performance, schema design, and query tuning.
  • Reliability Architecture: Collaborate with AWS SQS to build asynchronous workflows that ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide junior engineers in their development journey.
  • Lifecycle Management: Own end-to-end features—from requirement gathering and design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with frontend and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
  • Foundational Knowledge: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
  • Database Mastery: Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and database optimization.
  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS SQS or other messaging queues.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to own and drive projects from concept to completion.
  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
