Job Title: Senior Big Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Big Data Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to lead data engineering teams across geographies and time zones.

  • Manage cross-team collaboration with architects, product managers, and operations.
  • Design and implement scalable big data pipelines using Scala and Python.
  • Work with Apache Spark (batch & streaming) for real-time data processing.
  • Migrate data storage to HDFS with deep knowledge of its internals.
  • Develop schema evolution strategies using Apache Iceberg or similar table formats.
  • Run Spark and/or Flink jobs on Kubernetes with Terraform and Helm provisioning.
  • Build ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines for large-scale datasets.
  • Provision data infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
