Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical Design Expertise: Develop and implement battery-based energy storage systems incorporating expertise in PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs to ensure seamless project execution.
  2. Code Compliance: Familiarize yourself with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the USA to guarantee compliance.
  3. Due Diligence Lead: Oversee technical document reviews and installations to verify compliance, utilizing your owner's engineer experience.
  4. Battery Technology Knowledge: Stay updated on fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters to inform design decisions.
  5. FAT and Integration Planning: Prepare comprehensive FAT and integration test plans for BESS systems, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  6. Project Management: Manage bids and projects throughout their life cycle, utilizing your project management skills to deliver results efficiently.
  7. Electrical Testing: Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures, prioritizing safety and minimizing downtime.
  8. Equipment Training: Attend training sessions on equipment as provided by manufacturers, approved by your manager, to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Requirements

We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in BESS. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field is required; Ph.D. candidates are also welcome. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills, along with competent skills using Microsoft office software like Outlook, Excel, Word.

  • Total Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in BESS.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field; Ph.D. candidates are also welcome.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
  • BEBS Expertise: Electrical knowledge/training experience of at least three years in BESS.
  • Skill Set: Good organization, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Software Proficiency: Competent skills using Microsoft office software like Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Management Skills: Client management, team management, and process management skills are required.
  • Additional Advantage: Know-how on other electrical and PV software is an added advantage.
