Video Content Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Content Lead to drive our video advertising and content strategy forward.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine video concepts, scripts, and storyboards. Create project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.
  • Organize and manage the production process, including casting, location scouting, scheduling, and equipment procurement. Ensure all necessary permits and releases are obtained.
  • Hire, lead, and collaborate with a team of videographers, editors, sound engineers, and other production professionals. Provide guidance, feedback, and direction to team members.
  • Oversight of video shoots, ensuring the creative vision is executed effectively. Direct talent, capture high-quality footage, and manage on-set logistics.
  • Supervise the editing process, including video and audio editing, color correction, and visual effects. Ensure the final product aligns with the project's goals and vision.
  • Review and approve video drafts at various stages, providing feedback and revisions as necessary. Ensure that videos meet quality standards and align with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, creative directors, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns or feedback.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure they stay within allocated parameters. Track and report on project financials.
  • Assist in creating strategies for video distribution and promotion, which may include social media, websites, and other online platforms.
  • Ensure the team has access to the necessary tools to produce high-quality content. Stay up-to-date with the latest video production equipment and software.
  • Ensure all legal and copyright requirements are met, including licensing music, obtaining necessary permissions, and complying with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in video production and project management, with a focus on ads, digital marketing, or content marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of video production techniques, equipment, and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing ad content and branded storytelling.
  • Understanding of different video formats, including web, social media, and broadcast.
  • Familiarity with different distribution platforms and best practices for online video.
