Network Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced Network Design & Implementation Expert with over 15 years of hands-on experience in managing and designing complex networks in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network architectures for large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Lead network projects related to topologies such as VLANs, VPN, MPLS, and manage network gateways, routers, firewalls, and other essential network components.
  • Configure network switches, routers, and other devices to ensure seamless operation and optimization of network infrastructure.
  • Utilize expert knowledge of Cisco products (e.g., Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Cisco 5K switches) in enterprise deployments.
  • Oversee network design for WAN/LAN/Wireless internetworking including all aspects of protocol interoperability, network architecture, and testing requirements.
  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot network protocols like OSPF, BGP, STP, IPSEC, and ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
  • Provide advanced knowledge of platform operating systems (such as Cisco routers & switches), and troubleshoot any interoperability issues.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand business needs and develop network architecture solutions that meet both current and future demands.
  • Implement and monitor network performance tools to ensure network stability and scalability.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of SD-WAN technologies and design solutions that enhance the overall network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience managing networks in large enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in network topologies and tools such as VLANs, VPN, MPLS, gateways, routers, firewalls, and Cisco ASA/Firepower.
  • Extensive experience configuring network switching, routing, and other critical devices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco products and their interactions within large-scale networks.
  • Solid understanding of WAN/LAN/Wireless technologies, including design, protocol interoperability, and architecture development.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols like OSPF, BGP, STP, and IPSEC.
  • Experience in network architecture development and requirements gathering.
  • Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
  • Any SD-WAN-related certifications
