Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our computational design efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and/or interior design, with expertise in leveraging computational methods to enhance creativity, efficiency, and performance in architectural and interior projects.

The role involves developing and implementing computational tools to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and explore generative design opportunities. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants to integrate computational design methodologies into the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants to integrate computational design methodologies into the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize parametric modeling platforms such as Rhino + Grasshopper and Dynamo.
  • Create automation solutions using C# and Python scripting.
  • Conduct performance analysis to support data-driven design decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, scripts, and workflows to ensure scalability and efficiency across projects.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in computational design, AI-driven design tools, and digital fabrication.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Computational Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in computational design within an architectural or interior design context.
  • Technical proficiency in:
    • Parametric Modeling: Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo (mandatory).
    • Programming/Scripting: Python, C#, or visual scripting (preferred).
    • BIM: Strong working knowledge of Revit and interoperability with computational tools (mandatory).
    • Solid understanding of design principles, materials, building systems, and construction techniques.
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality deliverables.
    • A portfolio showcasing computational design projects (mandatory for consideration).
