About the Role

As a senior audit professional, you will be the main point of contact for clients and engagements. Your primary responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables, and maintaining productive relationships with client teams.

This role involves various engagement types, including reviews, audits, and compilations. You will work closely with client teams to execute each engagement thoroughly and in compliance with audit methodology.

  • Lead client engagements and deliver high-quality work as per audit methodology and client team expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of client engagements and audit methodology while performing procedures, along with knowledge of audit tools for efficient execution.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with client teams.
  • Proactively discuss workflow management with client teams, allocating tasks and monitoring performance against standards.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for various operational matters related to client engagements, including:

  • Standardizing execution processes and leveraging best practices across engagements.
  • Motivating and leading team members, identifying key talents, and coaching/supervising them.
  • Responsible for operational matters related to client engagements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) degree.
  • Articleship experience with Big4 or mid-tier accounting firms.
  • At least 2+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits (qualified candidates), or 3+ years for non-qualified candidates.
  • Deep knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
  • Proficiency in using various audit tools and applications.

Preferred Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and project management/leadership abilities. They should also have robust logical and reasoning skills, with the ability to spread a positive work culture and teaming approach.
