About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. As an Associate Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the development of a Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) environment leveraging AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve AWS service issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Manage AWS services, working with internal teams to ensure system availability meets project requirements.
  • Design, build, and deploy cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms (AWS).
  • Provide guidance and technical expertise on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
  • Develop scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities.
  • Provide technical support on AWS-related issues, monitor solutions, and implement strategies to eliminate performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Product teams on issues related to AWS design and architecture, and assist with Proof-of-Concept development and testing.
  • Mentor peers within and beyond the Operations team to develop new solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience.
  • 3+ years of AWS administration experience, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail.
  • 3+ years deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls, etc.).
