Job Title: Deputy Team Lead

This role will support our IT audit team. Our specialists conduct audits for third-party service providers, internal control assessments, and penetration tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in planning and scoping of IT audits for engagements and internal control audits.
  • Leads technology walkthroughs in IT general controls and application control.
  • Develops test procedures and prepares relevant documentation.
  • Executes testing of IT general controls and application controls based on internal and industry standards.
  • Problem solves and completes work to meet critical deadlines.
  • Communicates engagement status to clients and team management.
  • Possesses knowledge in ITGCs, IT application controls, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience working with applications and infrastructure supporting financial reporting processes.
  • Comfortable leading interviews with personnel to understand IT General Controls.
  • Experience designing and executing testing for ITGCs, focusing on Access Management and Change Management.
  • Possesses supervisory skills to supervise and coach activities of other staff.
  • Works independently or on small teams, multi-tasking to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Possesses effective planning, coordination, time management, and organization skills.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or accounting information systems.
  • Experience in IT external audit, IT internal audit, and Technology Risk assessment.
  • ERP (Oracle, SAP, JDE) and Cloud security knowledge a plus.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and/or CPA or working towards it.
