Financial Analyst Position

The primary objective of this role is to support the Finance team in managing and reporting financial performance across various business units. Key responsibilities include handling accounting and processes such as P2P, R2R, and O2C for respective Business Units (BUs). Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly financial close, adhering to GAAP (Ind-AS), company accounting policies, practices, and internal controls. Maintain consistency in accounting.

Some key areas to focus on are:

  1. Accounting & Reporting:
  2. Handle end-to-end Accounting and Process viz. P2P, R2R, O2C for the respective BUs
  3. Responsible for completion of accurate and timely monthly financial close
  4. Compliance with GAAP (Ind-AS), enforce company accounting policies, practices, and internal controls, and ensure consistency in accounting
  5. Responsible for delivery of accurate books of accounts - P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  6. Ensures financial accounts are properly supported and reconciled
  7. Leading financial close review with Finance Leadership including month-end review, finalization of P&L accounts, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
  8. Run cadence with internal teams to identify aging and take suitable actions
  9. Responsible for Interim Audits, Due Diligence, Statutory Audit, GST Audits, etc.
  10. Prepare the company for statutory & tax audits, financial due diligence
  11. Financial Planning & Analysis:
  12. Support specific BU with end-to-end Finance operational Support
  13. Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for the specific BU
  14. Provide the business with timely, accurate and insightful analysis of the result
  15. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to drive strategic decision-making
  16. Acts as a one source of truth for numbers – Key financial metrics and performance drivers
  17. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  18. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
  19. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including investors, partners, and vendors.
  20. Other Activities/Initiatives:
  21. Knowledge of Nodal Account, Payment Gateway Reconciliations, E-Commerce transactions etc (preferable)

This role requires a strong background in financial modeling, accounting and reporting software, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
