Hardware Design Engineer Opportunity

A highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer is required to lead the end-to-end hardware development of power electronics systems including BMS and battery management interfaces.

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  3. Guide PCB layout for high-power designs ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  4. Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  5. Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety.
  6. Select and integrate components such as MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  7. Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, and adhere to automotive standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with high-voltage battery systems and automotive standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
