Our client is seeking a specialist in PeopleSoft development who can support HCM 9.2 functionality, including Human Resources, Benefits Administration, eBenefits, Payroll for North America, Time & Labor, and custom-built modules.

This role involves production support and application enhancements, which may include requirements definition, analysis, technical design, development, testing, and quality assurance.

  • Collaborate with functional users to understand business requirements and document them accurately.
  • Analyze systems, research delivered functionality, and identify potential impacts on other modules.
  • Develop and update technical specification documents, ensuring they meet business needs and deadlines.
  • Design and build solutions to meet business requirements, following established development standards.
  • Test cases should be documented and executed thoroughly to ensure quality.
  • Perform quality assurance testing on projects completed by team members.
  • Resolve break/fix production issues, communicate effectively, and provide timely updates.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in PeopleSoft HCM development, including PeopleTools/Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, COBOL, Application Engine, SQL, and DMS Scripts.
  • Experience with Oracle Database 19c or above.
  • Familiarity with the PeopleSoft HCM product suite, including Human Resources, Benefits Administration, eBenefits, Payroll for North America, and Time and Labor.
  • Hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience with Linux and Integration Broker, Component Interface.
  • Background in PeopleSoft production support.
  • Knowledge of HCM Tax Updates, PUM Image Updates, and PeopleTools Upgrades.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and functional resources to meet business requirements.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize workload effectively.
