Overview

Our company is seeking a Search Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing search solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement search schema, indexing pipelines, and query parsing for large-scale search applications.
  • Develop strong expertise in .NET (C#) development, focusing on asynchronous patterns and dependency-injection frameworks.
  • Deploy workloads on AWS, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, or CDK, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Implement search relevance concepts, such as tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, and query-time vs index-time strategies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch.
  • A strong background in .NET (C#) development.
  • Experience deploying workloads on AWS, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Expertise in CI/CD and automated testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
