Cash Application Specialist Job Description

As a Cash Application Specialist at RWS, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely completion of cash applications activities, maintaining cash applications records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cash application activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash receipts and aging reports.
  • Administer AR transactions, including processing invoicing, memos, collections, and cash applications.
  • Maintain AR ledger, reconcile transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Apply cash remittance and credits adjustments, maintain bad debts and allowances, and prepare AR reporting.
Requirements:
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Basic knowledge of finance business processes, AR, and revenue policies, as well as statutory accounting principles.
  • Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal guidance or direction.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics is beneficial.
