Animated Storyteller and Visual Designer

We are seeking a skilled Motion Graphics Artist & Graphic Designer to create captivating animations, visual effects, and designs for our educational technology (EdTech) videos.

  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with the content team and script writers to understand the vision and objectives of each video project.
  • Responsibilities include designing and creating visually appealing motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that effectively communicate complex technical concepts in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
  • The successful applicant will develop original graphic designs, illustrations, and icons for use in video content, promotional materials, and digital assets.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent is required.
  • The Motion Graphics Artist & Graphic Designer will work closely with video producers and script writers to ensure seamless integration of motion graphics and designs with script content.
  • Iteration on animation concepts, visual designs, and illustrations based on feedback from stakeholders will be necessary.
  • Maintaining a high level of quality and consistency across all motion graphics, designs, and animations while experimenting with innovative visual techniques to enhance engagement is crucial.
  • Staying updated on current trends and advancements in motion graphics, animation techniques, and graphic design will help to continuously enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of our video content.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in motion graphics, animation, and graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, graphic design principles, and typography is essential.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, taking direction and feedback from team members and stakeholders is vital.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is necessary.
  • Having knowledge of Brand marketing or Performance marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Aligning with industry trends and having a basic understanding of AI tools for efficient workflow is beneficial.
  • A genuine interest in education, technology, and visual storytelling, with a passion for creating animations and designs that enhance the learning experience for learners of all levels is essential.
