Neurosurgeon Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Neurosurgeon located in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Neurosurgeon will be responsible for performing elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures, managing complex cases involving cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgery, diagnosing and treating patients with neurological and spine disorders, providing expert care in trauma neurosurgery and spine surgery, participating in multidisciplinary team discussions with Neurology, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, and Oncology teams, contributing to clinical teaching, research, and hospital academic programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college (mandatory)
  • Have an MS (General Surgery) followed by MCh (Neurosurgery) or equivalent DNB (Neurosurgery) qualification from an NMC-recognized institute (mandatory)
  • Have strong expertise in neurosurgery and spine surgery
  • Demonstrate experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders
  • Exhibit excellent surgical skills with the ability to perform complex neurosurgical procedures independently
  • Display strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
  • Be able to work effectively in high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings
  • Hold additional fellowship training in spine or skull-base surgery (preferred, not mandatory)
