Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and implementation of predictive models that meet accuracy requirements.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the technical soundness of valuation and risk models according to regulatory guidelines, critically assessing modeling approaches, and ensuring model documentation adheres to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include performing data extraction from relational databases using SQL, employing programming languages like Python and R for model testing, data analysis, and generating reports.

Additionally, the successful candidate will execute risk analysis to validate the performance of existing risk models, lead gap-closing initiatives, and recommend improvements.

They will also generate regular reports on model performance monitoring, provide recommendations for model design, development, back testing, implementation, and recalibration processes.

A comprehensive and accurate model inventory will be developed and maintained in alignment with Model Validation Policy requirements.

Required skills include proficiency in predictive modeling techniques, decision trees, regression analysis, and machine learning, as well as strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and R.

Proficiency in machine learning libraries and big data platforms is necessary, while familiarity with cloud platforms for data storage and model deployment is beneficial.

Thorough understanding of model risk management and regulatory standards is essential, along with expertise in model documentation, including methodologies, data analysis, and performance assessment.

Experience in risk analysis, gap-closing initiatives, and performing model performance testing is desirable.
