Artificial Intelligence Researcher

Sony is a leading research and development centre, driving innovation in cutting-edge technologies.

As an artificial intelligence researcher, you will play a crucial role in assisting our team with model development and evaluation, leveraging pre-trained large language models (LLMs).

  • You will contribute to the development and evaluation of models using deep learning techniques.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Contribute to improving AI capabilities for users by leveraging machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities
  • Model Development: Develop and evaluate models leveraging pre-trained LLMs.
  • Personalization: Blend together LLM language understanding and personalization of recommendation models.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other researchers, engineers, and product teams.
  • Community Engagement: Contribute to the research community by sharing insights and participating in external workshops and conferences.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in deep learning and natural language processing. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in fine-tuning, training, and using LLMs.

The tenure is extendable, and the working hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday) full-time. We offer a competitive salary package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.

Essential skills include a strong background in deep learning, knowledge of current literature, and high-level skills in Python and one or more popular frameworks.
