Job Title: Advanced API Automation Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced API Automation Test Lead to spearhead our quality engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
  • Design and implement automated testing scripts using PostMan, RestAssured, and Karate
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop testing strategies
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers to ensure high-quality testing practices
  • Define and report quality engineering metrics to measure team performance
  • Work in a fast-paced agile environment and adapt to changing project requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on API automation testing
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java programming
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured or similar tools
  • Strong expertise in building scenarios with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Specflow, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
  • Strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript, Core Java, or Typescript
  • Ability to work in a flexible and fast-paced agile environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
