Senior Public Relations Consultant

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Senior Public Relations Consultant to lead our PR efforts and build strong relationships with clients, media, and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise daily with clients and the media via telephone and email to build strong relationships and networks.
• Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Provide clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.

Media Monitoring & Coverage:

• Monitor traditional and digital media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires.
• Collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage to track opportunities and identify areas for improvement.

Publicity & Campaign Management:

• Plan publicity strategies and campaigns that align with client business goals.
• Strategize, enable execution, and create quarterly roadmaps to drive results.
• Write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media.

Event Management:

• Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits to showcase client expertise.
• Attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms.

Brand Development:

• Develop and foster relationships with brands and 3rd parties on behalf of the organization.
• Leverage partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities to drive brand growth.

Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement:

• Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness and credibility.
• Conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries.

Research & Analysis:

• Commission and undertake market research to inform PR strategies.
• Analyse industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.

Team Contribution:

• Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment.
• Maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed.
