Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Economist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering macroeconomic research and analysis, with a focus on covering existing markets and expanding into new regions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Covering macroeconomic research and country-specific data analysis, with experience in economics or related field highly desirable.
  2. Stay up-to-date on global financial market trends and developments, demonstrating a keen interest in this area.
  3. Demonstrate a solid understanding of economic concepts and statistical skills, with experience working with large datasets.
  4. Be proficient in advanced Excel and have a good understanding of econometrics.
  5. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports and provide insightful commentary on market trends.
  6. Familiarity with database tools, including Bloomberg, Macrobond, Haver, World Bank, and IMF, is an asset.

Requirements:

A degree in economics or statistics, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience, is required for this position. Progress towards CFA/FRM qualification is highly valued.
