Data Scientist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at ClicFlyer. As a key member of our data science team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by developing predictive models, analyzing complex data sets, and interpreting results.

Job Overview:

ClicFlyer is a leading e-commerce platform that requires a talented Data Scientist to develop and implement machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights from large datasets. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain deep learning models to drive business growth.

About the Role:

  • Machine Learning Expertise: You will be responsible for developing and deploying deep learning models using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: You will analyze and visualize complex data sets using tools like NumPy, SciKit-Image, OpenCV, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Model Training and Evaluation: You will train and evaluate machine learning models on GPU computing platforms.
  • Solution Development: You will transform research articles into practical solutions that solve real-world problems.
  • Team Collaboration: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans.
  • Communication: You will provide data-driven insights to stakeholders through clear and concise communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in computer vision and/or deep learning for object detection.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Python and related packages, including NumPy, SciKit-Image, OpenCV, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Advantages: Experience with OCR and NLP is an added advantage.
  • Understanding: Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Aptitude: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
