PHP Backend Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Backend Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting front-end developers through PHP backend support, creating and integrating PHP functionalities, and solving performance, architectural or integration problems within the scope of the PHP developer job role.

  • Assist front-end developers through PHP backend support
  • Create and integrate PHP functionalities
  • Solve performance, architectural or integration problems within the scope of the PHP developer job role
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong technical background in PHP along with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing PHP and knowledge of web frameworks is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding accessibility and security compliance
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Strong knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
  • Along with RDBMS, exposure to various no-SQL databases like Mongo, Redis, Click House
  • Knowledge on Linux, Redis and other JavaScript frameworks/libraries is an added advantage
  • JQuery knowledge is an added advantage
