About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Software Professional to design and develop software solutions that support business needs. This position will be responsible for leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions using Java, with a focus on Core Java and multi-tiered Java EE design and programming.
  • Develop expertise in web services, including XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and microservices, as well as proficiency in RDBMS database platforms like DB2, MSSQL, and Sybase.
  • Prioritize hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies, DevOps integration, and code management tools such as GIT and Jenkins Pipeline.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of requirements for large enterprise applications, including security and entitlements.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both individually and in group settings.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate scripting experience in Python, Unix, Perl, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with event/messaging systems such as Kafka, MQ, or JMS.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications, preferably Azure, AWS, or GoogleCloud.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, including CSS, HTML, Web Development Frameworks, and design patterns, as well as frameworks like Angular or ReactJS.
  • Prior work in the banking/brokerage industry, with knowledge of financial markets and wealth management.
  • Exposure to ALM tools like JIRA, RALLY, or other productivity-enhancing development environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and biweekly scrum meetings.
