Pharmacy Assistant Job

The primary goal of this role is to assist in the dispensing and administration of medications, as well as support senior pharmacists in maintaining a safe and efficient pharmacy environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Interaction: Provide basic drug information and guidance to patients regarding dosage, administration, and potential side effects.
  2. Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, checking expiry dates, and placing orders to maintain adequate supplies.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, billing, and patient history in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Compliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws, ethics, and safety protocols to prevent errors and maintain a high standard of care.
  5. Supportive Roles: Participate in compounding and labeling medications when required, coordinate with healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions, and assist in patient counseling on over-the-counter medicines and health supplements.
