About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Audit Director to lead our audit teams and execute end-to-end audits with precision, efficiency, and compliance.

Job Description:

  • Lead statutory audits independently from planning to final reporting.
  • Manage multiple teams and their team leads, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain technical accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and auditing regulations.
  • Coordinate with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues.
  • Develop strong client relationships and act as a single point of contact for escalations and walkthroughs.
  • Apply risk assessment methodology to focus audit effort on high-impact areas.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant laws and regulations, including Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and financial regulations.
  • Leverage audit tools and digital documentation systems to improve turnaround time and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of statutory audit experience, preferably in audit firms.
  • Proven track record of independently closing audits without supervision.
  • Experience managing multiple teams and audit teams simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, auditing regulations, and financial statement preparation & review.
  • Working knowledge of Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other financial regulations.
  • High accountability, thrives under pressure, and delivers audits on time.
  • Strong articulation skills for client presentations, board reporting, and team guidance.
