**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design and develop high-quality solutions for clinical systems integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and big data processing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Design and implement next-generation metrics engines using modern infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Architect and implement data governance capabilities, including metadata and reference data management.
  • Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment, managing scope, risk, and timelines.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Masters degree with 4-6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
  • Bachelors degree with 6-8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
  • Diploma with 14-18 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Hands on experience writing SQL using any RDBMS (Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, Teradata, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience with Schema Design & Dimensional data modeling
  • Hands on experience with big data technologies and platforms, such as Databricks, Apache Spark (PySpark, SparkSQL), workflow orchestration, performance tuning on big data processing
