Job Opportunity: Graphic Design Intern

The selected intern's key responsibilities include:

  • Studying design briefs and determining project requirements.
  • Scheduling tasks, defining budget constraints, and conceptualizing visuals based on requirements.
  • Preparing rough drafts and presenting ideas to team members.
  • Developing illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand.
  • Ensuring the use of appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
  • Collaborating with copywriters and creative directors to produce a final design.
  • Testing graphics across various media platforms.
  • Amending designs after receiving feedback from colleagues and superiors.
  • Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and meet brand standards.

Candidates can gain valuable certifications in relevant skills. To be eligible, candidates should be available for full-time, in-office internships and possess relevant skills and interests.

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Proven experience in graphic designing.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics demonstrating creativity and skill.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • A degree in design, fine arts, or a related field is preferred but not required.
