Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex cyber security projects, utilising their expertise to protect valuable assets and prevent cyber attacks.

The role requires a professional to work from an office location, collaborating with global teams of professionals who are solving complex business problems and supporting their communities, the planet, and each other.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy data loss prevention solutions on servers, endpoints, and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot agent related issues along with IT Team.
  • Configure data loss prevention policies and rules for both network and endpoint DLP to identify and protect sensitive data.
  • Ensure the DLP solution is properly integrated with existing security tools and infrastructure.
  • Develop DLP policies based on organisational data protection requirements.
  • Classify and categorise data to apply appropriate DLP rules.
  • Regularly review and update DLP policies to address new threats and business needs.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure DLP policies are effectively enforced.
  • Ensure DLP policies comply with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Generate reports for compliance audits, highlighting data protection measures and incidents.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the effectiveness of the DLP program.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on data protection best practices and DLP policies.
  • Raise awareness about the importance of data security and how to handle sensitive information.
  • Work closely with IT, legal, and compliance teams to align DLP policies with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with data owners to understand data flows and protection requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to optimise the performance of the DLP solution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.E/B.Tech (Tier 1/2) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
