Job Title: Quality Assurance Software Specialist

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Software Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, configuring and customizing Opcenter R&DL (LIMS) to meet business requirements. This involves designing and implementing workflows, data models and business rules based on the Opcenter R&DL data model.

You will also create custom scripts, reports and dashboards using SQL, Java or other scripting languages. Additionally, you will conduct unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets the required standards.

The role also involves supporting system deployment, go-live activities and post-implementation support. You will integrate Opcenter R&DL with ERP (SAP), MES (Opcenter Execution), PLM and other enterprise systems. Furthermore, you will develop interfaces using APIs, web services or middleware (e.g., OPC UA, RESTful services).

It is essential to ensure proper data flow between lab equipment and the LIMS.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-8 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Python or VBScript for customization.
  • Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON and Web Services.
  • Familiarity with database management (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
