Job Goal

To ensure smooth running of plant machinery and equipment, and to guarantee the smooth functioning of the Maintenance Department, our target is to meet planned production targets with desired quality within time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient operation of plant machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain a well-functioning Maintenance Department.
  • Meet planned production targets with desired quality within specified timeframes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Computers, and Automation systems.
  • Knowledge of standardizing, evaluating, and controlling machine spares.
  • Awareness of work and quality systems such as ISO, TS-16949, 5S, and TPM.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance (Factory Act) and environmental norms.

Functional Competencies/Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to formulate, plan, and execute comprehensive preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance programs for machines.
  • Proficiency in designing and reconditioning machine control panels.
  • Competence in material procurement, vendor development, and negotiation.

Experience:

  1. Hands-on experience of around 15 to 20 years in maintenance departments while working with manufacturing industries on below types of machines.
  2. PLC-based Special Purpose Machines.
  3. Utilities like D.G. Sets, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Transformers, HT/LT Switchgears.
  4. Hydraulic and Mechanical Presses.
  5. Material Handling Equipment and Conveyors.
  6. Ovens and Furnaces.

Requirements:

  • Age: 35 and above.
  • Qualification: B.E./Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical).
  • Location: Shivamogga, India.
  • Currency: INR.
