Advanced Data Integration Solutions Specialist

This role is designed for a highly skilled professional who will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data integration solutions. The Specialist IS Architect will work closely with Global Medical teams to enable actionable insights across diverse business capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in architecting visualization solutions, integrating data, and working with AWS, SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis programming languages. They will also have strong understanding of medical data models, including Field Medical, Medinfo, and SciComm frameworks.
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing integrated solutions and analytical summarized dimensional data models and datasets to augment visualization applications and dashboards. They will also aid the development platform team with design, development of backend infrastructure and integrated views using AWS, Databricks notebooks with Python, sql, node.js.
In addition, the Specialist IS Architect will drive innovation in data analytics by introducing advanced techniques (e.g., AI, predictive analytics, dynamic storytelling) to highlight trends and opportunities. They will also monitor and enhance the performance of data pipelines, ensuring optimal load times and usability.
Furthermore, the candidate will ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA and GDPR. They will partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable visualization solutions.
The Specialist IS Architect will present data insights and solutions to senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. They will also train and mentor team members and business users on the effective use of analytics best practices.
Required Skills and QualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. The candidate should have experience in managing global data projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
They should also have advanced certifications in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Power BI Certification). Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience in integrating data visualization solutions with cloud-based architectures is preferred.
Functional skills include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
