**Job Description**

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead our Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) compliance initiative. As part of this project, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering a comprehensive compliance program in alignment with Bermuda's data protection regulations.

The key objective of this project is to ensure that our organization meets all relevant PIPA requirements. To achieve this, the project manager will conduct a thorough assessment of our current data privacy policies, systems, and processes to identify gaps against PIPA requirements.

The selected candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including Legal, Risk, IT Security, Compliance, and Business Units, to define and implement appropriate controls for data collection, storage, access, and sharing. This includes developing data mapping and inventory to identify all personal data processed by our organization.

In addition to these responsibilities, the project manager will establish governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and escalation paths to ensure compliance tracking and accountability. They will also manage vendor relationships and third-party assessments related to data processing and privacy.

The project manager will design and facilitate training and awareness programs for staff on data protection principles and responsibilities under PIPA. Furthermore, they will prepare project plans, status reports, risk registers, and ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.

As the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, the project manager will provide regular updates on PIPA-related matters.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing regulatory or compliance-driven projects.
  • In-depth understanding of data privacy regulations (PIPA, GDPR, or similar).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable business processes.

Work Mode: Remote.
Shift Timings: 5:30 PM - 1:30 AM (Indian Time).
Certification Required: PMP or Equivalent.
