Job Title: Program Director - New Product Introduction

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) professional to lead our development and launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and interpret engineering documents to ensure seamless translation into procurement and production requirements.
  2. Transform product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs with OEM partners.
  3. Create and maintain assembly documentation such as SOPs and APBs.
  4. Cross-functional team management for Engineering Change Management (ECM), implementing changes in production, and driving timely closure.
  5. Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, update, and management for all products, creating part numbers for components in BOM.
  6. Product End-of-Life (EOL) status monitoring and planning accordingly.
  7. OEM component obsolescence tracking and alerting the engineering team when necessary.
  8. Leading development projects from prototype to mass production phases within our organization and with OEM partners.
  9. Ensuring NPI specific information/documents are released in JIRA/Confluence.
  10. Data integrity management within Jira/Confluence and making it available with OEM partners.
  11. SUPPORTING ISO AUDITS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT STANDARDS.
  12. Pilot builds leading, quickly resolving issues, and establishing repeatable processes for production scaling.
  13. Collaboration with product, design, supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing teams for on-time and seamless product launches.
  14. Building and maintaining strong partnerships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  15. Awareness of product certification requirements such as EN, FCC, CE, and PESO advantageous.
