Job Title: Tidal Administrator

About this Role:

This is a senior-level position requiring experience in managing Tidal Admin and Scheduling. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in this field.


Tidal Admin Responsibilities:
  • Hosting Tidal on AWS Cloud.
  • AWS Cloud expertise, including EC2, RDS, Load balancers, NFS, Security groups, Subnets, Networking.
  • Installing the Tidal Master on Unix.
  • Installing the Tidal Client Manager on Unix.
  • Installing Tidal Agents on Unix and Windows.
  • Troubleshooting the Master/Client Manager/Agents.
  • P1/P2 priority calls handling.
  • Running SQL Queries understanding.
  • Using SSL for Client Manager.
  • Managing Vulnerability and Audit.
  • Migration experience.

Tidal Scheduling Responsibilities:
  • Performing general supervision, implementing, maintaining and scheduling workloads and event-based processes.
  • Analyzing, designing and implementing batch processing workflows using Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
  • Implementing job streams with complex dependencies and managing complex calendar schedules using the Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
  • Overseeing restart and rerun of all production jobs, creating accurate documentation, including job dependencies, and developing standard operation procedures.
  • Organizing workloads in operational environment.
  • Understanding impact of changes to job processing and adjusting schedules as necessary for scheduled maintenance, etc.
  • Managing IT production environments changes, controlling change documentation, leading change control meetings and communicating changes to affected parties, documenting all changes.
