About the Position

This key role involves developing and maintaining data infrastructure, while providing actionable insights through various tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee management and upkeep of data collection tools across departments.
  • E.g., Fulcrum, Google Forms, Titus, Salesforce.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, APIs).
  • Administer and optimize the EduFinance SQL database on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
  • Implement and maintain data quality controls.
  • Manage special data projects as the organization expands.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reporting tools for internal teams and partners.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Ensure dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect program status.
  • Special projects requiring data analysis for informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.
  • Able to promote and communicate the organization's goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
  • Knowledge of R for advanced analysis.
  • Experience with version control (Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps) and collaborative coding practices.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, such as GDPR compliance.

Language Skills: Written and verbal fluency in English required, fluency in French or Spanish desirable but not required.
