About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Datacenter Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of Aditya Consulting's datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in core datacenter technologies, cloud integration, virtualization, data management, and network security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and optimization of core datacenter technologies, including Servers and Storage systems.
  • Implement and maintain virtualization solutions using VMware, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions, particularly using Nutanix.
  • Manage data protection technologies, including Commvault, Veeam, and Dell DPS, to ensure reliable backup and recovery.

Cloud Integration

The successful candidate will design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises datacenter solutions and public cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud strategies that optimize cost and performance.

Virtualization and HCI Expertise

They will drive the adoption of virtualization technologies to maximize resource utilization and flexibility. Additionally, they will implement HCI solutions to simplify management and improve scalability, while aligning with business objectives.

Data Management and Protection

The ideal candidate will develop and enforce data management policies to ensure data integrity, availability, and security. They will lead initiatives for disaster recovery and business continuity planning, implementing best practices for backup and recovery solutions.

Network Security

They will establish and maintain robust network security protocols, leveraging technologies such as Fortinet and Checkpoint. Regular security assessments and audits will be conducted to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary controls.

Infrastructure Design

The Datacenter Lead will architect and design datacenter solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. They will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical specifications for new projects.

Team Leadership

They will mentor and lead a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Training and development opportunities will be coordinated to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Documentation and Reporting

The Datacenter Lead will maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and policies. Regular reports will be provided to management on infrastructure performance, security posture, and project status.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. They will have 5+ years of experience in datacenter management and infrastructure design. Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware) and HCI technologies (Nutanix) is essential, as well as expertise in backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam) and network security technologies (Fortinet, Checkpoint). Proven experience with cloud integration and management (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is also required. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration.
