Executive Chef Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations in a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Kolkata. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement menus that are innovative, profitable, and appealing to guests while controlling food costs and managing inventory.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality dishes and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional culinary standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to HACCP procedures and local health regulations.
  • Manage the kitchen's budget, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on food quality, presentation, and service levels, and implement changes to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coach kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Arts degree or certification from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in managing kitchen operations and supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Creativity in developing new recipes and dishes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef is a plus.

The estimated salary for this role is ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience. The Indismart Group offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
