MES Testing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled MES Testing professional to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine project tasks and identify task duration in collaboration with the service manager.
  • Report on task advancement to the service manager.
  • Work independently under the guidance of technical leads, exercising initiative and adaptability.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to software development, conflicts in branches and releases, and engineering tasks.
  • Apply project best practices and support operational enhancements.
  • Develop and implement effective testing/validation processes, including validation test creation.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with MES interfaces for third-party systems like automation systems (e.g. DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, Siemens SIMATIC Batch, Rockwell PLCs/SCADA).
  • Familiarity with programming languages (C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, Python).
  • Proficiency in Mendix programming.
  • Knowledge of release management across multiple environments (e.g. DEV, QA, PROD).
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server and/or Jira is highly beneficial.
