About Us: ClearQuote automates vehicle inspections and damage assessments using Smartphone images and Computer Vision. We work with automotive companies, dealerships, fleet and mobility providers, motor insurance companies to instantly assess damages on a vehicle. We are hiring a developer based anywhere in India with relevant knowledge and experience with development and deployment of large-scale cloud-native enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Taking up software development involved in development, testing, integration efforts for our software product by taking ownership and delivering product features from concept to implementation.
  2. Hands-on in MEAN stack with experience in both front-end and backend development and deployment.
  3. Working with the Product team in prioritizing development activities for fortnightly sprints.
  4. Contributing to software design / technical architecture.
  5. Understanding complex, scalable, cloud software architectures and being comfortable working with distributed and remote-only engineering teams and clients.
  6. Involved in code reviews of other team members.
  7. Involved in security standards and testing to ensure compliance with enterprise customer requirements.
  8. Bringing in high levels of work ethic and ownership on work responsibilities, dedication, and lead-from-the-front attitude to develop world-class customer and enterprise products.
  9. Researching upcoming new technologies and implementing the same within ClearQuote products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Computer Science / Engineering.
  • 2+ years of work experience in MEAN stack software development.
  • Experience building and deploying software applications on the cloud - AWS, Azure, GCP or such cloud platforms.
  • Experience in deployment of containers on Development, Test and Production software environments ensuring 99.99% system and application availability.
  • Fluent in Javascript programming, developing web services involving REST APIs & JSON.
  • Strong experience in developing server side Node.js software applications.
  • Strong experience designing and developing MongoDB or similar databases.
  • Experience developing front-end clients for enterprise web applications using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Angular frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with cross-location teams.
  • Kubernetes or other container orchestration framework experience essential.
  • Exposure to Build automation - GitHub (Actions) / Jenkins.
  • Working knowledge of Python and Machine Learning is a valuable plus.
