Software Engineer - Cloud Platform Expert

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platform services, with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure applications on Openshift Cloud Platform. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features, ensuring the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • Design and implement scalable and secure applications on Openshift Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software design and implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a strong understanding of Openshift Cloud Platform services and architecture.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Have extensive experience with Spring Boot and Java development.
  • Show expertise in MySQL and database optimization techniques.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of the Cards & Payments domain.
  • Display excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Possess a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • Have experience with agile development methodologies.
