Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling negotiations with vendors for the procurement of materials and services for interior and architectural projects.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and vendor management. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Verify invoices and bills to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage payment processing to vendors and contractors
  • Maintain accurate records of billing-related activities
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address issues related to payments or supplies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce (BCom) or related field
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance, preferably in the construction, interior, or architecture industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working on large-scale, multi-location projects
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance for construction and design projects
