Job Title: Senior Bridge Design Engineer

At our company, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join our team of experts in bridge design and assessment.

As a Senior Bridge Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and assessment of bridges, ensuring compliance with UK standards and guidelines. You will work closely with our team of engineers to deliver high-quality designs and reports within tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design and assessment, with experience working on large-scale projects. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction. You will also be involved in the development of new design methods and procedures, contributing to the advancement of our industry.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Extensive experience in bridge design and assessment, preferably with a focus on steel composite and pretension/posttension structures
  • Excellent knowledge of UK design standards and guidelines
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
