Financial Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Leader to oversee the day-to-day activities of our accounts payable and B2C revenue departments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

  • Oversight of daily operations for the accounts payable department and B2C revenue, including vendor payments, collections, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ownership of the end-to-end AR/O2C process from start to finish.
  • Maintenance of excellent client relationships, addressing billing or payment concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Supervision and mentorship of a team of accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Regular review and improvement of AR processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implementation of automation tools or software solutions to streamline workflows and reduce manual efforts.
  • Cash flow monitoring through analysis of accounts receivable aging reports, identification of potential risks, and development of strategies to minimize bad debt and maximize cash collections.
  • Identification of revenue leakage and implementation of processes to bridge gaps.
  • Preparation and analysis of AR reports, metrics, and KPIs for management and financial reporting purposes.
  • Presentation of various dashboards for Management, including aging reports, old provisioning, revenue growth, and cash flows.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of work experience in the Travel Industry or B2B setup.
  • Preference given to candidates with Big4 experience.
  • Experience in IFRS/Ind-AS is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach.
