The Gates Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Regional Product Line Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing product line strategic plans across the East Asia and India region. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of growing business in the mechanical power transmission industry, specifically in the belt drive system segment.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with country commercial teams to conduct end market research, VOC surveys, calls, field investigations, and monitor end market dynamics.
- Provide clear product value proposition to commercial organization for their upselling and continually analyze and interpret end-users' feedback and bench-marking data.
- Formulate and deliver product strategic plans with approved product objectives for each country and evaluate sales pipeline and analyze win-loss reason for large opportunities for continue improvement.
- A degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in industrial market, at least 5 years in mechanical power transmission industry, and minimum 3 years of experience in belt drive product application.
- Proven record in driving cross-functional teams in execution of product line strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and Microsoft PowerPoint skills to deliver high-quality executive-ready presentations.
