Job Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the successful installation and commissioning of machine control systems using PLC technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement program logic for PLC-based machine control systems.
  • Conduct panel testing, PLC I/O testing, and troubleshooting to identify and rectify issues.
  • Analyze panel drawings and recommend modifications as necessary.
  • Test and validate machines at the factory prior to deployment.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of machines at client sites.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of control and ladder drawings.
  • Develop flowcharts to optimize system performance.
  • Maintain a focus on meeting project deadlines while ensuring quality deliverables.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, including control systems and instrumentation.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, PLC commissioning, and DCS integration.
  • Familiarity with Siemens, Schneider, ABB, and other leading PLC brands.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on finding efficient solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
